Job Title: Tool Crib Attendant

Location: Technibus-Canton, Ohio
Department: Manufacturing
Reports To: Shift Manager
Employment Type: Full-time 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Tool Crib Attendant to manage and maintain the inventory of tools, equipment, and consumables used in our operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable with basic computer functions, and capable of identifying various hand tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and maintain tool crib inventory using inventory management software
• Perform cycle counts and spot checks to verify stock accuracy
• Fill out and process purchase requisitions for replenishment of supplies
• Issue and receive tools, equipment, and consumables to/from employees
• Record and monitor individual employee usage of items
• Accept deliveries from the shipping department and promptly stock items in designated areas
• Break down packaging materials and operate a cardboard compactor
• Keep the tool crib area clean, safe, and organized always

Specific Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills (inventory software experience preferred)
• Familiarity with common hand tools and related equipment
• Ability to lift, organize, and manage tools and materials efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and recordkeeping abilities
