SVP of Supplier Solutions

Location : Hybrid/Remote - must reside in the Greater Boston, MA area

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

We’re looking for a strategic, results-driven leader to lead our Supplier-facing business line. In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end strategy, execution, and P&L for building, commercializing, and scaling Prendio’s supplier ecosystem. You will engage regularly with our ecosystem of >50 Preferred Suppliers, developing and launching strategies to help them grow business amongst our biotech customer base by offering unmatched value. You will source new high-value bio and life science supplier partnerships and demonstrate benefits and ROI. You will leverage data, technology and our Procurement experience to build programs that educate the market and drive adoption of our aggregated purchasing programs and our supplier partners. Your impact will be felt across our platform, supplier network, and R&D customer base, and you will help to grow our revenue from this critical customer segment.

This is a high-visibility, cross-functional leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments, and has a track record of driving business growth, margin expansion, and scalable operational execution. Experience working in a private equity or venture capital-backed environment is also preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Supplier Customer Acquisition & Engagement:

  • Source and secure high-value suppliers across reagents, consumables, capital equipment, CRO/CDMO, and niche scientific services.
  • Build business case demonstrating ROI; Negotiate pricing for our services, plus rebate structures and/or exclusive incentives that benefit both supplier and customer.
  • Build and maintain C-suite-level relationships that position Prendio as a strategic growth partner.

Account Management & Value Delivery:

  • Lead team to engage and demonstrate value to key Supplier Partners
  • Develop onboarding process from contract execution to both capture early wins and set Supplier Partners up for success over long term.
  • Build strategic capabilities to recommend business development and promotion actions to Supplier Partners to grow customer base and market share amongst Prendio biotech customers.

Product & Program Strategy:

  • Provide direction and strategic perspective to help define solution and product enhancements to further drive customer value and differentiation
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to ensure successful product development and delivery
  • Define services requirements to further ensure customer success and ROI

P&L Responsibility:

  • Own financial results from Supplier-facing business line, including revenue generation, bookings, and contribution profit
  • Author and present Supplier section of Board of Directors reporting

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to align supplier value propositions, compliance, rebate models, and co-branded campaigns.
  • Be a valuable member of our Senior Leadership Team, and work closely with colleagues leading all other functions

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years in supplier partnerships, sourcing, or commercial strategy within life sciences or biotech.
  • Demonstrated success in managing two-sided markets and negotiating complex, multimillion-dollar supplier agreements.
  • Familiarity with SaaS and advisory services business models
  • Strong strategic, financial and analytical acumen—able to evaluate margins, forecasts, and supplier performance.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives
