Senior Product Designer

Dearborn, MI (4 days/week)

$110,000+ (DOE)

Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Start Date: August 18th, 2025

As a Senior Product Designer for this Fortune 500 automotive company, you will help to drive design-thinking mentality across the organization responsible for all manufacturing technology.

With a higher emphasis on quality products and improved consumer experience, there is a need for user research and design expertise that will directly impact these enterprise-wide goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Completed bachelor’s degree in Experience Architecture, UI/UX, or a similar field
2+ years of experience with UX research tactics (ex: user interviews, creating user personas, user testing, etc.)
Hands-on experience with wireframing and prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe XP, Sketch
Front-end development knowledge (HTML/CSS or JavaScript)
BONUS: Experience in the automotive industry, working with engineers, or exposure to manufacturing environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conducts user research to understand user needs, mental models and working contexts
Create user journey maps to bring perspective to what the UI for applications should consist of
Take ideas from the concept to the production stage, using storyboarding, wireframing, redlines, prototypes, guidelines, and other communication/presentation methods
Develop detailed product deliverables that effectively communicate UX designs and product requirements
Participate in heuristic evaluations on past and current projects with project managers and developers
