Part-Time HR Generalist (25+ hrs/week)

We’re growing and are looking to add a part-time HR Generalist who brings deep HR knowledge, strong client focus, and a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.

About the Role

In this hybrid role, you’ll provide end-to-end HR and recruiting support for a variety of client accounts. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our clients have the right people, policies, and practices in place to thrive. The position averages 25 hours per week , with flexibility for additional hours during peak project periods. Availability during standard business hours is required , as you’ll be supporting fast-paced work environments and engaging directly with client teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary HR point of contact for assigned client accounts
  • Deliver support across all facets of HR including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, employee relations, coaching, and performance management
  • Guide and support managers with employee performance conversations, documentation, and development plans
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining HR policies, processes, and compliance initiatives
  • Contribute to culture-building strategies and proactive problem-solving for workforce needs
  • Collaborate closely with Connectly’s internal team to stay aligned on client goals and deliverables

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist , with demonstrated strength across all core HR functions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Extensive experience in all cycles of recruiting - from sourcing applicants, effectively screening/interviewing, negotiating offers, etc.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and fostering strong relationships is a must!
  • Understanding of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices
  • Proven ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound judgment in dynamic environments
  • High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A proactive mindset and a “one step ahead” approach to managing tasks and client needs

Additional Details

  • This is a hybrid role based in the Baton Rouge area
  • Some on-site client support will be required depending on client location and needs
  • Must be available to work during standard business hours (Monday–Friday)
