Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Project Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting customer complaint investigations, driving PPAP processes, and providing backup support for audits and inspections. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone passionate about quality systems and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate PPAP processes in collaboration with Engineering, Sales, and Quality departments.
• Conduct internal and external meetings for PPAP sample reviews; occasional travel for on-site supplier PPAP reviews.
• Manage customer complaint investigations (CCAR), implementing corrective actions.
• Support mating parts and color chip coordination for the supplier base.
• Assist in training team members on quality processes.
• Provide backup coverage for receiving inspections.
• Investigate quality issues and support corporate quality improvement efforts.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of quality assurance experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality system software
• Skilled in using calibrated measuring equipment (VMM, calipers, scales, etc.)
• Familiarity with ANSI sampling plans and ASQ quality standards
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• ASQ Certification preferred or equivalent inspection experience
