Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will lead surveying operations, oversee project workflows, and ensure that all survey activities meet regulatory and quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to advance their career with a dynamic and expanding firm.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage land surveying projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction staking surveys.
  • Prepare and review plats, legal descriptions, and survey drawings for compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize and maintain survey equipment, including GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
  • Manage field crews, providing guidance and ensuring safety and efficiency on job sites.
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and clients to provide accurate survey data and resolve technical challenges.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in survey technology.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying laws and regulations.

Qualifications:


  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in OR or ability to obtain within reason.
  • 5 years of experience in land surveying, with a strong understanding of survey principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in survey software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS applications, and data collection tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with drone technology, 3D scanning, or other advanced surveying methods is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
