Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client intake and assess merit of personal injury claims

• Manage fact investigation, gather evidence, and develop case theories

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and trial briefs

• Take and defend depositions of witnesses, experts, and parties

• Prepare for trial, including exhibit development and witness coordination

• Represent clients in mediations, hearings, and court proceedings

• Negotiate settlements with insurers and opposing counsel

• Supervise paralegals and collaborate with external consultants

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in personal injury plaintiff litigation

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (Johnstown jurisdiction required)

• Demonstrated courtroom experience and confident oral advocacy

• Proven ability to manage multiple complex matters independently

• Strong negotiation and litigation strategy skills

• Client-first mindset and high ethical standards

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

• Preferred: Undergraduate degree in Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Communications

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar

• Mediation/ADR certification is a plus

• Expertise in Pennsylvania personal injury and civil procedure
