Job Description

We seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Consultant to support payroll operations across Brazil and the broader LATAM region. This role is perfect for someone with deep knowledge of regional payroll processes, strong compliance skills, and fluency in Portuguese and Spanish. Responsibilities

  • Accurately and timely process end-to-end payroll for the LATAM region, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing employee inquiries related to pay, deductions, and payroll processes.
  • Support payroll-related audits and SOX compliance by maintaining up-to-date documentation and internal controls.
  • Manage year-end reporting and filings with relevant tax authorities.
  • Perform additional payroll-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-cycle payroll experience for Brazil and other LATAM countries.
  • Strong understanding of local payroll requirements (e.g., termination calculations, holidays, e-Social, R, FGTS, INSS).
  • Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Solid knowledge of payroll systems and reporting functions.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; payroll certification preferred.
  • Experience with Workday and prior work in a high-growth, tech environment is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable with a “can-do” attitude.

Duration, Schedule, and Compensation

  • Start Date:  ASAP
  • Estimated End Date: August 31, 2025 (with a possibility of extension and conversion to FTE)
  • Hours Per Week: 40
  • Hours Per Day: 8
  • Days Per Week: 5
  • Max Pay Rate: $43.00/Hr.
