Fifty-two skilled attorneys and a professional support staff are employed at the law firm. There are nine areas of practice. A few practice disciplines include antitrust-product distribution, business, intellectual property and private client. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a robust docket of trademark, copyright, and trade dress litigation cases in state and federal courts
• Develop and execute litigation strategies from pre-suit investigation to final resolution
• Draft pleadings, complaints, dispositive motions, and trial-related materials
• Conduct discovery, including depositions, court appearances, and client preparation
• Participate in TTAB proceedings and anti-counterfeiting civil seizures
• Draft cease and desist letters and negotiate settlement agreements
• Support online and administrative enforcement efforts for trademarks and copyrights
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of intellectual property litigation experience
• JD from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar, including SDNY and EDNY
• Excellent research, writing, and case strategy skills
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Willingness to travel when required
