Immigration Associate Attorney – Advocacy-Focused Role | Boston, MA
A mission-driven law firm in Boston is seeking an Immigration Associate Attorney to represent clients in both affirmative relief and removal defense matters. Key Responsibilities:
• Represent individuals in removal defense and affirmative immigration cases.
• Appear before USCIS, EOIR, ERO, and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and supporting documents.
• Analyze the immigration consequences of criminal convictions.
• Advocate for Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) relief in family law courts.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Bar admission preferred (open to candidates awaiting results or with eligibility).
• Demonstrated interest in immigration law and immigrant advocacy.
• Prior experience through immigration clinics, internships, or pro bono work is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
