Overview:
Accenture is seeking an experienced EDI Developer to support a long-term project focused on transforming a legacy Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) into a modern, interoperable, and standards-based cloud solution.
Position: Developer
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain EDI X12 interfaces and extracts
Design ITX data mappings for X12 to non-X12 conversions
Implement SNIP compliance rules for key EDI transactions (270/271, 837, 835, 834)
Serve as ESB/API Gateway developer for design, development, and implementation
Work with REST, SOAP, FHIR, Splunk, and related technologies in a healthcare domain
Requirement Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience with EDI X12 development
Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) mapping and software
Proficient in ITX, ESB, and API Gateway tools
Strong understanding of healthcare transactions and standards
Knowledge of REST, SOAP, and FHIR APIs
Familiarity with Splunk for monitoring and debugging
