We're seeking a Junior Superintendent to support the execution of high-end interior construction projects for global commercial and retail clients across New York City. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to some of the most design-forward, detail-oriented interiors in the market, while gaining exposure to top-tier construction practices. For candidates who perform, there is a clear path to promotion into a Lead Superintendent role within one to two years.

You'll work closely with experienced field leaders on high-stakes projects in Class A office, luxury retail, and hospitality spaces and be given immediate opportunities to run your own projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily field operations from mobilization through punch list, coordinating subcontractors and managing site logistics.
  • Support the Superintendent in driving schedule, safety, and quality across all trades.
  • Help monitor compliance with plans, specifications, and local codes.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, field reports, and photo documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between trades, vendors, and project management to flag issues and ensure alignment.
  • Uphold site safety protocols and help enforce company standards for performance and cleanliness.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of field experience in commercial interior or retail construction, preferably in NYC.
  • Working knowledge of jobsite sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and construction safety standards.
  • Proficient in reading drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain before starting).
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.

What the Role Offers

  • Opportunity to work on high-end, fast-paced projects for global brands and top design firms.
  • Strong mentorship and hands-on training with experienced Superintendents and PMs.
  • Competitive compensation with bonus potential.
  • Full benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match.
  • Long-term growth path with a clear track to becoming a Lead Superintendent.
