Position Summary

888VoIP is a technology-focused distribution company operating in a dynamic and competitive market. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the financial health and operational support of the business. This role leads financial strategy, reporting, compliance, and supports initiatives that ensure stability and enable growth. The CFO must be able to manage financial operations in a rapidly evolving environment and ensure adaptability to change. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will work closely with leadership to provide strategic direction, improve profitability, and drive long-term value.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across all departments.
  • Support strategic initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, and investment planning.
  • Drive capital structure optimization and cash management practices.

Financial Operations & Oversight

  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation.
  • Direct accounting, audit, tax planning, and internal control functions.
  • Implement and maintain financial systems and reporting tools.

Inventory & Compliance Management

  • Conduct inventory appraisals and provide accurate valuation of inventory assets, including alignment with lending audit requirements.
  • Maintain bank certifications and compliance with fixed charge coverage ratios and lending covenants.
  • Manage multi-entity accounting, including consolidation and intercompany transactions.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to develop internal talent and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Performance Analysis & Collaboration

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and financial health.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to monitor performance and improve cost-efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and external partners.
  • Provide financial insights to support executive decision-making.

Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA or CPA preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
  • Experience conducting inventory appraisals and supporting third-party evaluations, including integration with lending audits.
  • Proven experience managing multi-company accounting environments.
  • Familiarity with banking certifications and financial covenant compliance, including fixed charge coverage ratio calculations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in distribution, supply chain, or related industries preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial analytics platforms.
  • M&A experience and capital raising capabilities are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through business transitions and organizational change.
  • Experience with asset-based lending structures is a plus.
  • EOS experience is a plus
