Minimum Requirements:

- Eighteen (18) years of age or older

- High School Diploma or GED

- Valid Driver's license and vehicle to drive to work sites

- At least five (5) years carpentry experience that includes understanding of construction processes

- Residential remodeling, framing and finish carpentry experience

Preferred (not required):

- Employees to have their own basic tools

- Employees to be able to haul and back up trailer

Employer Notes:

- Employer conducts a background check, drug test and DMV records check prior to first day of employment

- Typical schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, depending on business needs

- The majority of the work is performed within twenty (20) miles of Salem, OR. If work site is further than twenty (20) miles from Salem, mileage is reimbursed. Mileage reimbursed for driving tasks performed during the workday

Job Duties:

- As a carpenter you will need to be ready and willing to perform all carpentry tasks given, including framing, roofing, siding and finish carpentry as well as leading the onsite team on remodeling projects.

- Handle more in-depth carpentry tasks: cut, nail and brace framing assemblies including cutting headers and building wall assemblies and installing backing, as well as siding and interior trim and finishing

- Learn all aspects of remodeling and construction while working alongside other experienced team members

- Perform any other duties as assigned

Wage and Benefits:

- $20 to $30, depending on experience and qualifications

- 401K with 3% employer match after six (6) months, paid holidays and paid vacation after two (2) years
