Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a construction company in Gilbert, AZ. This in-office position reports to the CFO and also supports the Corporate Controllers. Successful candidate will be well organized, have excellent communication skills and detail-oriented. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize duties.

Overview of Duties

  • General Ledger accounting for several operating and property companies
  • Month-end close and reconciliations
  • Monthly reporting and analytics
  • Financial Statement preparation
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Corporate Banking
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

Experience/Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior accounting role
  • Advanced QuickBooks Desktop and Excel knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Must have attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Pro-active and self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision
